MY JOURNEY
The first time I experienced yoga was with my grandmother at a community center in Topeka, KS. The second time was working at a front desk in a yoga studio—my first job in NYC. I couldn't afford dance classes, so I used the free yoga classes to stay in shape. Little did I know I would fall in love and it would lead me towards a journey of strength and healing. Come to find out, the biggest benefit from my practice wasn't staying in shape, but cultivating a practice of stillness and non-judgement. I am thankful to yoga for providing spiritual rejuvenation as well as becoming a support system for my dancing body.
TEACHING
Yoga is for every body! Even yours! My classes are beginner friendly and I do my best to offer modifications and suggestions so each person can get the most out of their practice. I am not currently teaching at a studio, but if you are interested in privates, please go to the CONTACT page. I hope to see you on the mat soon!
TRAINING
Under the leadership of Casey Beauchamp and Christina Rufin, I received my 200 Hour Contemplative Teacher Training certificate from All Yoga in Ridgewood, Queens. It was truly an enriching experience and I am happy to continue on this journey.
